The 30-year tenure of Parisian house Paule Ka, lends itself to impeccable design, polished tailoring and a feminine prowess. Considered separates, graceful dresses and clean-cut suiting fit and drape like a dream, with collections made from only the most luxurious fabrics.
Originally founded by Serge Cajfinger in 1988, the label’s trademark vibrant hues were often influenced by Cajfinger’s spirited childhood in Brazil. Further inspired by icons of the 50’s and 60’s such as Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, Paule Ka’s designs are consistently imbued with the elegant haute-couture sensibility of Paris, and has established itself as the benchmark for the most sophisticated silhouettes for every occasion.
In 1988, Paule Ka opened its first boutique in Le Marais quarter. Initially opening more boutiques in Paris and Cannes in 2007, in 2011 Paule Ka spread its wings internationally to open boutiques in China and across Europe, as well as a flagship store and a showroom in New York. In 2014, Serge Cajfinger made the decision to step down as President and Creative Director of the label. The following year, Alithia Spuri-Zampetti (formerly head womenswear designer at Lanvin) took the reigns as Creative Director. In 2017, three years after Serge Cajfinger’s departure, the Paule Ka house announced his return as Artistic Director.
Paule Ka has been a firm favourite amongst an anthology of celebrity figures including Chrissy Teigen, Lily Collins, Christina Hendricks, Tracee Ellis Ross, Jennifer Lopez, Meryl Streep, Monica Bellucci, Diane Kruger and Kendall Jenner amongst others.
